A lot is going on in the life of Zach Wilson right now – and it all seems super positive. Having found himself enjoying a fresh start by signing for the Denver Broncos this offseason, the former New York Jets quarterback is almost certain to have a lot on his mind.

Nevertheless, Wilson also has a seemingly amazing life away from the football field and this was on display for all to see over the weekend. During a well-earned Italian vacation, Wilson finally decided to pop the question and ask long-term girlfriend and model Nicolette Dellanno to marry him.

The couple were quick to let the world know the good news, with Wilson sharing some moving words about his new fiancée on Instagram. Proudly displaying an image of Dellanno and her new engagement ring, Wilson marked the moment with a caption reading “To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you. You're not just my partner, but my best friend and my everything. I can't wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nic I love you”.

Of course, Dellano also wanted to share the fantastic news with her followers and posted a series of cute photos of the couple on their vacation with the caption “Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I’m so in love with you and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together”.

With the celebrations now put on hold, it’s time for Wilson to get to work and try to secure the top job with the Broncos this season.
