In a strange set of events, Patrick Beverley has found himself facing possible legal issues due to his behavior in Game 6 of the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers game.
Although Beverley is known for his aggressive style on the court, things took a turn for the worse when he got into an altercation with fans behind the bench. The first incident occurred when Beverley through the ball at said fans, which hit one of them in the head. However, that wasn’t to be the end of it. Beverley then asked for the ball back and, once he’d received it, he again threw it at the fans behind the bench.
If this wasn’t weird enough, Beverley also seemed to lose his cool with a reporter after the game and kicked him out of the locker room because he didn’t subscribe to his podcast.
Police Investigation
Beverley has now landed himself in hot water because the Indianapolis police subsequently announced that they are opening an investigation into the incident. For now, the police are trying to find more footage of what happened, but it’s fair to say that Beverley could be facing some further problems as things develop.
Furthermore, the NBA has now stepped in and suspended Beverley for four games without pay for his involvement in the altercation. However, it should be noted that his account of the events that took place suggests he was called a word he’d “never been called before” but agreed his following actions were “inexcusable”.
