WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark has been experiencing a rollercoaster of emotions in recent weeks. On the positive side of the scale, the Indiana Fever point guard has just landed another massive endorsement worthy of her 2024 No.1 WNBA Draft pick status and will team up with Wilson Sporting Goods Co., the league’s official basketball supplier.
Of course, this is a monumental moment, evidenced by the fact that nobody else has managed to land this deal since Michael Jordan. The endorsement will see Clark “test, advise, and provide feedback on a range” of products and will direct a signature basketball line.
The F-Bomb Technical Foul
On the flip side, Clark is also going through a tough time on the court right now. The Indiana Fever have started the regular season with a four-game losing streak and it’s difficult to see them achieving much of note this season.
As such, frustrations have already started to spill over in games. Although Clark has performed relatively well, she’s found herself making costly errors, including receiving a technical foul in the Fever’s latest loss to the Connecticut Sun in which she reportedly told an official to “call a f***ing foul”.
Understandably, fans aren’t too happy about how things are going either, with one disgruntled individual taking to social media to post “If you’re gonna get a T, earn it”. Of course, Clark can’t win games on her own, but she’s certainly not helping herself with these outbursts right now.
